STEP 3

Have all adults submit the online application and attach the following documents to the application. If you forget a document once you submit the application, email it to docs@haverfordsq.com.

Documents Required for the Application:

PHA Voucher
IDs of all adults
Social security cards of all household members
Birth certificates of all household members
1 month's worth of pay stubs from the head of household
6 month's worth of bank statements
CashApp, Chime, etc are considered banks
Go to your account from your app and download each statement
If you have a debit express card, bring the receipt showing the balance
If you receive SSI, a pension, or disability, bring the full award letter or other recently dated document showing how much you are receiving monthly
If you receive any funds that may show up on your Compass account, bring the summary sheet
Open the Compass app, scroll down, tap the link that reads “View Full Desktop,” log in, and tap the share/download icon to download your own Compass summary sheet. Tap where it shows "Print as PDF." This should open a new prompt to "Save as a File."

You are receiving assistance for the security deposit, share your housing coordinator's contact info such as their email and phone number with us.

STEP 4

Have all adults sign the PHFA Packet and wait for PHA to inspect the unit and determine rent

Bring all adults to the PHFA Packet signing and bring all of the documents required above in case we need better quality copies of these documents
At this point, your PHA voucher will be uploaded to the PHA portal. Estimated wait times for both inspections and rent determinations are 1.5 to 2 weeks.

STEP 5

Sign both Haverford Square Properties and PHA leases and submit your first month and security deposit payments to move in

After a successful rent determination, both Haverford Square Properties and PHA will have leases for you to sign. For your convenience, we offer online signings for both of these documents.
You will also now have access to your online portal where you can submit your payments. Move-in fees (first month and security deposits) are due 1 week before you move in online. If you are paying with a money order or certified cashier's check, see the "Ways to Pay" information box below.

For Move-In Fees:

Via money orders made payable to Haverford Square Properties.
Via an ACH online payment through the portal (the due date is 1 week before your lease start date).
Via a cash slip payment. We do not accept cash at the office, but we can provide you with a cash slip to pay at a store near you.
Via a credit card payment through the online portal (the due date is 1 week before your lease start date).
Via a debit card payment through the online portal (the due date is 1 week before your lease start date).

For Regular Rent:

Via an ACH bank payment through the online portal.
Via a cash slip payment.
Via a credit card payment through the online portal.
Via a debit card payment through the online portal.

Move In

Your code for unit entry will be both texted and emailed to you. It is very important for you to provide us your most up to date contact information such as your phone number and your email.
